The NSLC is pleased to announce two new 6-day advanced programs designed exclusively for NSLC Alumni. Joining the NSLC Alumni Service Week, NSLC Alumni can now register for either the Advanced Medicine & Health Care Program or the Advanced Leadership: Leadership in Action Program. Both programs will go beyond your first NSLC program - introducing you to advanced concepts and activities. They are also a great opportunity to reconnect with your friends from your program. Space in both programs is very limited. Students enrolling in either the Advanced Medicine & Health Care Program or the Advanced Leadership: Leadership in Action Program by January 1 will receive a $100 tuition discount.

Advanced Leadership: Leadership in Action

Advanced Leadership: Leadership in Action was developed by Robert Pruitt and our Leadership Development Team. The advanced-alumni design of our program is truly a roller-coaster ride—it will pick-up where your first NSLC experience left off and expand your leadership skills allowing you to more effectively manage goals, tasks, and groups at your school, college, or workplace. Alumni from all NSLC programs are invited to attend.

Advanced Medicine & Health Care

Join Dr. Richard Marfuggi and the faculty of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine as you explore advanced concepts in medicine. Try your hand at differential diagnosis during an intensive Grand Rounds Simulation. Practice your surgical skills and learn more about anatomy during an advanced dissection lab. Explore one of our nation's most presitgious medical schools during an exclusive visit to the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine. You will leave the program ready to tackle the rigors of a future career in medicine. Admission is limited to graduates of the NSLC on Medicine & Health Care.

The NSLC is excited to bring programs to Chicago in 2009! This summer the NSLC will offer several programs at Loyola University, located on the shores of Lake Michigan and just minutes from downtown Chicago. Select sessions of Medicine & Health Care, Mastering Leadership and Inside the Arts will be offered in Chicago. Additionally the NSLC Alumni Programs, Leadership in Action and Advanced Medicine & Health Care, will take advantage of the great resources that the city of Chicago has to offer.
